Nationwide Freelance News Reporters

The Telegraph’s news team is keen to hear from freelance reporters based across the UK. We’re seeking expressions of interest from journalists who are open to undertaking ad hoc freelance assignments to cover breaking news events in their locality (primarily outside the M25). You will have some prior experience of working on breaking news stories, and be capable of filing quickly and accurately to tight deadlines. You’ll also be confident writing across a variety of subject areas. A full knowledge of media law and experience of court reporting would be advantageous.
