Video Intern

The Telegraph in Macon, Georgia is looking for a fall video intern to shoot video for our digital platforms and assist the newsroom in growing our social media presence. The video intern, preferably a college student or recent graduate, will work with our veteran videographer and our reporters to shoot, edit and publish videos to run in conjunction with Telegraph stories. The intern will also edit and produce shorts and reels for the Telegraph’s YouTube and Instagram page. The ideal candidate will have experience shooting and editing news videos and posting Instagram reels and YouTube Shorts. The intern will learn SEO, strengthen their understanding of data analytics and refine video production techniques. The intern will need to live in Bibb County or a contiguous county for the duration of the internship and work a hybrid schedule, spending part of their time in the office and part of their time working remotely.
