Photo Journalist

The Times-Picayune | NOLA.com is searching for a creative, experienced daily news photographer to join our award-winning staff. This versatile journalist should be open to working in a variety of visual styles and formats and be committed to elevating the news organization’s visual journalism. Part of the largest news organization in Louisiana, the Times-Picayune is locally owned and directed by a veteran staff of journalists, many of whom have covered the Crescent City for decades. We are passionate about producing thoughtful, complex visual journalism in print and online, and we are aggressive about growing the organization to reach more digital subscribers. Still photography is the main function of the position, but candidates should have some experience with videography and video editing, as well as a willingness to try new avenues to present your work.
