Public Safety Reporter

The weekly Trinity Journal in beautiful Trinity County (far Northern California) is seeking a full-time public safety reporter for its weekly newspaper, website and associated products. Position also responsible for other beats, including a school district, the fairgrounds and our local public utilities district. The top candidate will have news experience and be energetic and self-motivated. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines are important. Photo, video and InDesign skills helpful. Opportunity for an experienced journalist to move into the managing editor position in the next year or so.
