Happy to share that today is my first day as the Travel Editor for Off Duty, WSJ's lifestyle section. Big shoes to fill and much to learn, but I'm so excited to shape stories that help people understand the world and how best to navigate it.

New team, new systems, new audience, new routine. For one thing, I haven't regularly commuted to an office in 5 years. But I'm stoked—and not just because I now work a short walk from Jimmy's Corner, one of the best dive bars on the planet.
