The Wall Street Journal is looking for an expert familiar with hiring, remote work and HR issues to become the lead voice of a weekly newsletter. The writer will be reaching an audience of executives and managers at a defining moment when workers and employers are trying to navigate return to work, vaccine mandates, pay equity, a new generation of workers and many other issues. The expectation is for you to have a clear understanding of issues that HR executives face and can fluently weigh on labor laws, reputational risk, cost management, assessments of best practices, D&I issues and organizational culture, to name a few. We are looking for a writer who can communicate clearly, write with a strong flair and has a network of sources to lean on for insight and reporting. Previous writing experience and an interest in exploring creative formats is preferred.
