The Wall Street Journal is looking for an expert familiar with hiring, remote work and HR issues to become the lead voice of a weekly newsletter. The writer will be reaching an audience of executives and managers at a defining moment when workers and employers are trying to navigate return to work, vaccine mandates, pay equity, a new generation of workers and many other issues. The expectation is for you to have a clear understanding of issues that HR executives face and can fluently weigh on labor laws, reputational risk, cost management, assessments of best practices, D&I issues and organizational culture, to name a few. We are looking for a writer who can communicate clearly, write with a strong flair and has a network of sources to lean on for insight and reporting. Previous writing experience and an interest in exploring creative formats is preferred. You will report to the Professional Products Editor, Prabha Natarajan.
