Photo Editor

The Wall Street Journal is seeking a photo editor to join its Features team on a 6-week contract. The role will be based in our New York office, with a hybrid work schedule. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced team of photo editors working on The Wall Street Journal’s real estate coverage. This desk involves a mix of research, some assigning of interiors and portraits likely and an ability to build and publish stories on the Journal’s digital platforms. The MANSION section is digitally-led, with a Friday print section. You are a photo editor with range and journalistic integrity, with a background in features assigning and editorial production. You have experience with interiors and contemporary portraiture-and have deep research skills - both in historic and social media environments. You also have a digital, deadline-driven background and can work quickly and accurately on a range of subjects, collaborating with the newsroom’s editors and section chiefs, as well as the non-staff writers and contributors.
