Politics Reporter

The Wall Street Journal’s Washington bureau seeks an experienced and aggressive national political reporter to be part of the team that will cover the 2022 midterms and the 2024 presidential election. You will build on the Journal’s coverage of former President Trump and the movement he has created within the Republican Party, producing stories that analyze the shifting political landscape and what those changes mean for U.S. policy. You should be comfortable writing about Congress, the White House, on the campaign trail and at the intersection of politics and policy.
