The Wall Street Journal is looking for an experienced reporter to cover social media platforms, with a focus on Twitter and the changes it is likely to undergo if Elon Musk completes his acquisition. Musk’s planned purchase has thrust Twitter into a position of extraordinary interest and significance, and his stated intentions to fundamentally revamp its business model and its way of policing abusive and manipulative content will be watched closely across the tech industry and beyond. This job is part of the San Francisco Tech Bureau’s award-winning social-media team, and will entail reporting more broadly on other platforms as well as how Twitter plugs into the rest of Mr. Musk’s business empire.
