Senior Publishing Editor

The Wall Street Journal is looking for an experienced editor with superb news judgment to join our fast-paced news-editing team in New York. You'll be a leader on our robust Publishing Desk, which is at the center of the New York newsroom and works with global reporting bureaus to edit, polish, code and publish copy on deadline across our various platforms. A deep interest in all areas of news, in particular national, political, world and business, is encouraged. You'll independently make decisions about breaking news, coordinate with coverage chiefs on strategy on the top news of the day and work closely with our news bureaus as well as visuals and platform editors. You'll also oversee projects, assist with logistics and planning, direct the work of colleagues, communicate with compassion and help other editors grow.
