The Wall Street Journal is seeking a supervising producer to join its daily news podcast, What’s News. What's News brings listeners the headlines and business news that move markets and the world—twice every weekday. In 10-12 minutes, listeners will hear WSJ scoops and exclusives, with insight and analysis from the reporters who broke the stories. Top candidates for this role will have excellent editorial judgment, strong production experience and team-management skills, be highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple projects at once. Collaboration, decisiveness and clear communication are critical for this role. Though you will be a key manager in this unit, this is a hands-on role. We are seeking an experienced producer with a strong track record of pitching, developing, field producing and elevating original audio series. This position will be based in our New York City office and reports to the Executive Producer, Audio.
