The Wall Street Journal is seeking a video journalist to produce timely business and markets videos as part of its social news video team. Top candidates for this position will have a professional background in video journalism and demonstrate exceptional shooting and editing skills. In this role you will be expected to juggle many tasks under deadline pressure, with a primary focus on producing daily videos on news and market coverage. An ability to react quickly and bring challenging topics to life visually are essential for this position. Please note, this is not an entry-level position, and it is not a position producing documentaries. This role is focused on producing daily news and markets coverage. Candidates need to show successful executions of projects that have been done in just a few hours and stand out in the 24/7 information cycle. Experience with social media news and vertical video are a must. This position will report to the Supervising Producer for Social News Video and will be based in our London office.
