The Deputy Editor of Culture, Training & Outreach (“the Deputy Editor”) is responsible for helping to drive and support greater understanding, inclusion and opportunity for colleagues with diverse skills, perspectives and experiences at The Wall Street Journal. Reporting to the Editor of Culture, Training & Outreach, the Deputy Editor will spend time with news team leaders, attend coverage meetings and help to design and implement training and best practices that ensure a diverse, inclusive and welcoming workplace; will be an ambassador for the Journal’s newsroom; will work creatively and ambitiously to support the Editor of Culture, Training & Outreach in equipping journalists with the skills needed to excel in their careers and create the exceptional journalism for which The Wall Street Journal is known.
