The Washington Post is hiring a breaking news reporter in Features to write engaging stories that fall within the nexus of entertainment, media and celebrity.  This reporter will work closely with the breaking news editor and other teams in Features to make sure The Post offers readers timely stories on the most interesting and newsworthy topics of the day in culture. Sometimes this will mean jumping on a story about a legal development in a court case, or a celebrity or media figure caught in a firestorm over controversial statements. Other times this writer will take ownership of stories that extend beyond a 24-hour news cycle. Surprising stories that lend themselves to original reporting will always be a priority.
