The Wenatchee World is seeking an editor who will edit and coach journalists while engaging audiences across several digital and print channels. This position will take point on coordinating and editing the daily flow of local content produced by a very strong team of local reporters. This role will report to the Managing Editor and work closely with everyone in our 14-person newsroom. We’re looking for an experienced journalist who can use their solid news judgment and editorial talents to lead a team. The Wenatchee World has a daily newspaper, two weekly and two monthly publications serving a four-county region in central Washington State. We produce a dozen email newsletters every week, maintain all the usual social media channels and a few other innovative digital platforms. Our primary markets are the growing cities of Wenatchee and East Wenatchee.
