Social Media / Newsletter Editor

The Wenatchee World is seeking an editor to deepen our audience engagement through a range of digital channels, primarily social media and email newsletters. This position will write our flagship email newsletter, The Daily Headlines, which reaches nearly 20,000 people every weekday. The Wenatchee World publishes several other newsletters that are authored by other members of the newsroom. You’ll also take the lead on our posting and engagement on our primary social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram, and our secondary platforms: TikTok and Twitter. The Wenatchee World has the largest social media presence in the region, reaching hundreds of thousands of people every month.  This is a high-profile role in our 14-person newsroom and leads some of our most-critical functions. The right candidate will be creative and have a desire to experiment.
