This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with students and researchers in refining their academic work to meet the highest standards. The rate will be per page on an as needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and edit academic theses for clarity, coherence, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to style guidelines.
Provide constructive feedback to authors on content, structure, and presentation.
Ensure proper citation and referencing according to established academic standards.
Collaborate with authors to maintain the integrity of their research while enhancing its readability and impact.
Communicate effectively with authors to address queries and discuss editorial decisions.

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in academic editing or proofreading.
Proficiency in academic writing conventions, including various style guides (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago).
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for grammatical and typographical errors.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback diplomatically.
