Job Description
What will you do?
As our new senior journalist, you’ll leverage your network across the US Private Equity market to share upcoming deals with our clients ahead of mainstream media. You’ll use your contacts and connections to stay ahead; always the first to get the scoop! Just as connected within Third Bridge, you’ll collaborate with our Private Equity leadership, PE content teams, marketing and PR to contribute to the newsflow.
You’ll spend your time in conferences and industry events to widen your network and stay up to date with upcoming trends, news, and curate your findings to share with the Third Bridge community. Once sourced, you’ll conduct interviews and share exclusives, ensuring Third Bridge remains ahead of the curve and are always the first to know.
In this unique role, you’ll be bridging the gap between financial services business and content marketing. You’ll nurture your network of trusted sources, industry contacts and market participants. Targeting Large to Mid Cap deals, you’ll break news stories, and working with our internal leadership and marketing teams, ensure our clients are the first to know the latest transactions across the US Private Equity market.
Qualifications
What will you bring?
Your knowledge and passion of the Private Equity industry has been demonstrated in your work history and successes in financial news publications. You bring a network of Private Equity stakeholders and are immersed in the language, culture and workflow of PE.
Prior experience as a reporter or researcher for financial media is important, as this role will rely on your ability to investigate and interview leads. You communicate effectively both in writing and speech, working independently to meet tight deadlines. You’re approachable and an influencer with the ability to build good working relationships easily and leverage these for information across the Private equity space.
You’re looking for a role where you can be proactive and take the lead with minimal guidance and supervision; not confined to a desk, but be out there where the scoops can be found! You have the growth mindset to step into a new role, work closely with the MD, and make your own mark in the PE reporting landscape.
