Motoring Reporter

MailOnline and This is Money are looking for a motoring reporter.

Working under our motoring editor, they will write motoring stories and publish content for our highly popular Cars & Motoring channel across both MailOnline and ThisisMoney.co.uk.

The role involves a broad range of writing, from the latest motoring news, to covering new car launches, reporting on interesting classic cars and writing features and guides.

It also includes finding the pictures and videos that can bring our motoring coverage to life and get people talking.

The successful candidate will have excellent motoring knowledge, ranging from supercars, to family hatchbacks, popular classics, and what’s going on in the world of electric cars.

A full driving license and willingness to drive at occasional car launches in the UK and overseas is also desirable.

They will also have a grip on the financial side of the motoring world and understand what this means for the car industry and our readers’ pockets.

Experience in motoring and online news is an advantage and a commitment to original, quality digital journalism is a must.
