Thomson Reuters Markets Europe SA (Reuters) is seeking an exceptional newsroom leader to run coverage of Russia and the eight other full CIS members. We are looking for a candidate with a deep understanding of the Russian political, economic and corporate landscape coupled with the ability to organise a large team of reporters in a challenging environment. The successful person will be a journalist committed to agenda-setting coverage who is able to generate compelling ideas and edit with authority across all facets of the file. You will have a deep understanding of the needs of our financial, media and consumer clients and will ensure that our news is delivered with speed and authority and in the most engaging formats. You will understand the value of both speed and deeper reporting, of news that moves markets and stories that overturn accepted thinking, from the snap to the special report.
