We are looking for an experienced, passionate and multimedia-savvy journalist to join our newsroom and lead our Inclusive Economies file. Reporting from the ground across the globe, our journalists cover climate, inclusive economies, and technology and its impact on society. From investigating slavery in supply chains, to the impact of climate change on peoples’ lives, to how data-driven technology and AI are shaping communities around the world, we report on some of humanity’s biggest and most complex challenges. In a rapidly-changing world, we amplify undiscovered issues and voices, and examine possible solutions. We adhere to the Thomson Reuters Trust Principles of integrity, independence and freedom from bias. As our Inclusive Economies Editor, you will bring depth and insight to our coverage of issues ranging from socio-economic inclusion, sustainable finance, ‘Just Transition’, race / gender / sexual orientation-based discriminationand its impact on economies, new economic and business models, ESG and similarly related topics. An editorial leader with a deep understanding of money and power, you will produce news-led as well as exclusive, unique features and long form stories that have impact, drive conversations, and raise awareness of the relation between major economic trends, policies and practices, and ordinary people. You will also build a network to include some of the sector’s most influential voices into our stories.
