Reuters is looking for an exceptional journalist and writer to lead our political and general news coverage from Japan. The successful candidate will plan and deliver wide-ranging coverage through compelling stories about the dynamics of Japanese politics, society and economics, its evolving role in regional security and the crossover between Japan’s companies and government policy. He or she will be a writer who can plan and execute a complex story and frame the biggest news of the day while looking for innovative ways of storytelling, working closely with pictures and TV colleagues.
