Reuters is looking for an experienced, sharp and ambitious news editor to run a region that spans more than 20 countries, from the economic and political heavyweights of Brazil and Mexico to smaller nations that bring outsized influence to bear on geopolitics and global markets. It calls for a leader with superb news judgment, a person who can motivate and develop a talented regional newsroom to build on its agenda-setting and award-winning work on issues ranging from systematic deforestation to organized crime. As the leader of more than 90 journalists across the region, you will be well positioned to help drive Reuters coverage of major global themes such as climate change, the energy transition, supply chains, migration, and the future of democracy and democratic institutions.
