Reporter (Level 1 Journalist – Temp)

Reuters is seeking an experienced and talented Reporter (Temp) to pursue breaking news and feature stories for the US national affairs team. In this part-time position, the successful candidate will be responsible for pitching story ideas from New York City and the surrounding areas that will resonate with a national audience. We are looking for candidates who have shown they can write quickly and accurately under tight deadlines, possess strong reporting skills, have a deep familiarity with the Reuters news file, and an ability to move deftly between news stories. The initial contract will be for six months and is renewable up to a maximum of two years.
