The Special Projects Editor is a senior member of Travel + Leisure’s editorial team, reporting to the Executive Editor. S/he/they will work closely with the Executive Editor on assigning and editing Features and Experiences stories, and bringing in/managing new writers. Most importantly, they will run the World’s Best Awards, T+L’s signature survey franchise, a major print-digital collaboration that includes a 35+ page magazine package and 100+ pieces of digital content. The Special Projects Editor is the linchpin of the franchise, which is a major revenue driver for the brand. The ideal candidate should have significant experience and proven success producing sophisticated, audience-delighting, high-profile content.

Education:
BA/BS required. Degree in Journalism not necessary.
Experience:
10 years in media, preferably with travel experience.
