Sports Writer

The newsroom that produces the (Warren) Tribune Chronicle and The (Youngstown) Vindicator daily newspapers in northeast Ohio is seeking an experienced full-time sports reporter. The successful candidate would become part of our award-winning sports department and will possess a strong base of sports knowledge, strong organizational skills and deadline writing ability. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can pitch stories and cover both high school and collegiate sporting events. He or she should have a proven page design ability with working knowledge of Adobe InDesign or Quark Xpress and Photoshop. Photography skills are a must.
