The Tulsa World is seeking an experienced journalist to help expand the coverage of state government, politics and policy. The reporter will cover all elements of the Legislature and other state agencies, working on enterprise reporting that readers can’t find anywhere else, write breaking news stories and create in-depth work that give readers context and insight on Oklahoma’s political scene. Other duties include being active and engaged on social media, shooting video and working with photographers to help gather information to best show the story.

This reporter will join the Tulsa World’s veteran reporting team that includes a reporter at the Capitol and other reporters focused on government and politics. This reporter will also appear in videos and podcasts published by the Tulsa World.

This is a position is based in Oklahoma City and will work from the Capitol. This staff writer will report to the city editor.
