The Office of Financial Aid is part of the Enrollment Management unit where we support campus recruitment and student success efforts through the administration of financial aid and scholarship programs. The Communications Coordinator role is a full-time professional exempt position that reports to the Assistant Director of Communications. This position works closely with the Assistant Director in the creation and implementation of communication campaigns as part of an overall communication strategy for the Office of Financial Aid (OFA), including Scholarships and Student Employment and has an important role in ensuring prospective and continuing students have access to clear and concise financial aid and scholarship information to help them make informed decisions. This position is primarily responsible for managing websites, creating and maintaining accessible and user-friendly online forms, creation of instructional videos, creating and assessing social media content, as well as managing the internal OFA newsletter. This position participates in a communications workgroup to ensure that communication plans are carried out in a timely manner and in accordance with federal regulations. This position will develop and maintain a thorough and current working knowledge of all federal Title IV, State of Colorado, and institutional rules, regulations, and procedures to ensure the accurate release of information and program compliance.
