US Sports Copywriter

We are looking for an individual passionate about US sports to join our team and deliver industry leading, innovative sports and sports betting content to millions of followers in the United States. The ideal candidate should have a passion for at least one of the leading US sports (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB) and betting experience, proven marketing skills as well as being a regular social media user. The role is on-site, 5 days a week at our office in London, Marylebone.

Responsibilities:

You will be leading your own social media betting brand, supporting an influential character within the US sports betting space and constantly innovating with the goal of becoming the industry leader in terms of customer engagement and value. Your responsibilities for this role include:

Optimizing platforms: Ensuring you are using all social media features to benefit from their algorithms, increase brand exposure and displaying content in the best way possible.
Build a loyal sports betting community: Constantly providing top quality content that appeals to your audience and taking time to interact with followers on a daily basis.
Market sportsbook offers: Picking relevant bookmaker offers and promoting them to your audience using a variety of innovative and effective strategies.
Strategic planning: Accessing the mood of the account on a day to day basis and orchestrating your post and bet plans accordingly.
Idea sharing: Weekly meetings in informal settings to catch up with other brand captains and management to share findings and brainstorm.

What You Should Offer:

Passion for sports and sports betting.
Strong knowledge of at least one US sporting competition (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL).
Minimum of one year experience in marketing/copywriting
Regular user of social media and an understanding of how it operates.
Excellent copywriting skills.
Motivated to be the best in the industry.
Strong social skills.
Flexibility to work on a US timeclock.
Personal connections to the United States preferred.
