Grocery Deal Expert Writer

We are actively seeking a real-deal grocery deal expert who loves shopping, has a keen eye for deals, knows grocery stores and our favorite grocery brands inside and out, and also wants to write about it.
This is a great opportunity for writers who have previously worked in a supermarket or know US food brands inside and out and can share some ‘insider’ information to share with readers who want to shop better!
You must be very familiar with US grocery stores and US food brands to apply for this role. There may also be some real-world testing involved in this role, so you must be able to get products shipped directly to you and do product testing articles as well.

About the Role
As one of our grocery deal expert writers, you’ll write first-person guides, reviews, comparisons and lists on all things supermarkets, grocery and fresh delivery services, consumer packaged good, grocery deals and more. Articles will range from “best ketchup brands” to comprehensive guides on how to find the best deals in grocery US-wide.
What We’re Looking For
Proven real-life experience either as a bonafide coupon clipper, grocery store employee. You must bring something other than typical ‘Google research’ to this role.
Strong writing skills. Our guides are all first-person and showcase our experience in this niche.
A real passion for helping others ‘shop better’!

Role Details
This is a freelance writing role. You’ll be responsible for following our writers’ guidelines and do your own market research as needed. We expect all of our writers to bring their own insights and opinions to their work, backed by real-life experiences that they share.
You’ll work directly in our very own WordPress content management system and are able to pick and choose the topics you want to write about.
We pay writers 2x a month via PayPal. There may be some PayPal fees, so make sure your desired rate per word reflects this as well.
