Working closely with the Editorial Director and Managing Director, the successful candidate will develop expertise and understanding of global markets. The candidate will bring strong experience in the price reporting discipline and in-depth knowledge of commodity markets in general.

Principle accountabilities:
Identify opportunities to deliver more profound, analytically focused pieces, expand coverage, launch new pricing services, or improve methodology.
Delivery prices and expertise through the team’s engagement priorities include producing PRA content, deeper analysis of trends, and participating with internal and external events.
Write a daily market commentary reporting on significant trends, major price movements and major factors shaping today’s price.

Essential skills:
Practical experience in journalism, writing or industry exposure.
A high level of written and spoken English is essential.
Mandarin speaking is a must.
Exceptional networking and communication skills and good, confident telephone manner.
Ability to work with numbers and spreadsheets and handle large volumes of data to produce the analytical editorial copy.
