Digital Content Writer Responsibilities:
This resource will act as a right hand to the Sr Manager, Content Writing, and work hand in hand with the leadership on projects and daily tasks.
Responsible for creating email content: Act as a bridge between content and email writing, understanding the nuances of crafting content for email journeys compared to blogs or long-form pieces.
Create compelling and effective email content that resonates with the target audience.
Update and elevate existing content, transforming it into a more simplistic and accessible format.
Ensure content remains current and aligns with evolving business needs, including creating content for flyers, newsletters, blogs, etc.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and launch programs.
Understand the elements necessary for program development, creating content, visuals, and other related materials.
Demonstrate the ability to jump in and execute tasks with minimal guidance.
Take ownership of content-related projects and deliver high-quality work consistently.
Write newsletters, blogs, emails, and contribute to website updates.
All content creation will be done in Word; design elements will be handled by the creative team.
Digital Content Writer Requirements:
5 years of short-form digital content writing experience, including emails, newsletters, and web updates.
Must have extensive expereince working in the Higher Education industry (Colleges, Universities).
Must have writing samples of short-form digital content (emails, flyers, newsletters, other digital content).
Strong understanding of target audiences, brand guidelines, and how to write within the set compliance and brand requirements.
Good writing skills, good com skills; independent and critical thinker.
