RESPONSIBILITIES
Support account lead to manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis and implement local and regional communication strategies and program activities in conjunction with team members
Monitor and track client, competitor, industry and cultural news and prepare coverage reports
Provide media relations support – conducting research, building target media lists, drafting media materials, pitching to journalists, and managing media relationships and opportunities
Demonstrate ability to develop strategies/creative platforms and concepts that simultaneously leverage traditional and new media for our clients
Prepare timely team and client updates on all stages of project processes; prepare accurate and thorough conference call or client meeting recaps
Assist and contribute to the development of long-term strategic clients plans and program recommendations, developing budgets, generating recommendations, and creating presentations
Identify opportunities for agency/team learning and develop tools/suggestions to expand agency knowledge and understanding of digital communications
Execute social networking, media campaigns and blogger outreach
Proactively generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success
Anticipate and proactively offer solutions to senior team leadership on executional issues specific to assigned programs
PERSON PROFILE
Minimum 0-2 years of PR experience or relevant industry experience, preferably at a PR agency or in-house communications team. Candidates with more experience will be considered for an Associate role.
Strong communication and presentation skills

Excellent written and spoken English
Ability to work under tight timelines
International outlook or experience favorably considered
