Job Purpose
Welldoc is seeking a skilled health tech Copywriter to be part of an impact-driven culture that focuses on innovation and building respect. Helping to craft compelling and engaging copy that aligns with our overall product vision and goals, engaging both B2C and B2B audiences.
As a Welldoc Copywriter, you will bring your hands-on approach and natural storytelling ability to create impactful communication pieces and campaigns across various mediums. Working closely with our marketing and design teams, you will ensure that all copy adheres to our brand voice and style guide, conveying a consistent message to target audiences.
Note: this is a 6-12 month part-time contract position (20-30 hours a week; standard EST business hours). Applicants will be required to provide a link to writing samples or writing portfolio.
Responsibilities
Create content that spans multiple channels like, digital, print, and long form content
Support corporate communications as applicable
Formatting, editing content, and proofreading
Ensuring the consistency of content and brand tone of voice for different audiences
Partner with the creatives to make the idea, copy, and design a cohesive story
Research competitors and the industry to provide insight into trends and creative foresight
Required Skills & Experience
3-5+ years of experience in copywriting and copyediting in the healthcare and health tech industries
Juggle multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy for a variety of audiences
Strong understanding of the principles of effective copywriting, including tone, style, and readability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Actively listen to truly understand the ask, client feedback, and internal feedback
Have a keen understanding of all the channels in the marketing space
Experience with UX writing is a plus
Start-up experience is a plus
Welldoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.

Compensation
In accordance with New York City, Colorado, California, and other applicable laws, we are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including internal and market equity, qualifications for the role, years of experience, applicable education, etc.. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $35.00-$60.00 per hour, with an expectation that most candidates fall in the middle of the range. As an independent contractor with Welldoc, this position is not eligible to participate in the Company's medical benefits and paid time off programs.
