Womack Publishing has an opening for an individual to serve as a reporter for the Star-Tribune newspaper, the largest weekly newspaper in the Danville and Pittsylvania County area. The Star-Tribune is an award-winning newspaper that is located in Chatham, VA and serves the area daily online and weekly in print. Along with the newspaper, the Star-Tribune publishes numerous magazines and specialty publications. Responsibilities include reporting, writing news and features stories. Good layout skills are a must because page design is a big part of this position. Candidate should have experience in InDesign and Adobe Photoshop. Experience and college degree are helpful but not as important as a good work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and be part of the team.
