About the Role:

We are seeking an educational content Writer to produce classroom-based lesson plans for a CTE program for high school students. The content will focus on soft skills, professionalism, and risk management.

Responsibilities:

Work from provided outlines and objectives to create classroom lesson plans and supplementary materials for a CTE program
Identify appropriate outside resources for lessons, as needed (e.g. videos, resume samples, etc.)
Follow all provided project style and content guidelines
Provide citations or references, as needed.
Ensure that content is written at an appropriate level for the audience and is inclusive of a diverse audience
Write formative and summative assessments, including project-based assessments
Revise drafts as requested by editorial staff

Qualifications:

Strong writing ability and attention to detail.
Experience teaching and/or writing high school lesson plans / curriculum.
Experience in the CTE realm is preferred
Ability to adhere to deadlines and communicate any issues immediately
Proficiency with Google Docs and Microsoft Word
Familiarity with Depth of Knowledge (DOK) Framework
