As a Writer, you will join our growing creative team, lead and mentor younger creatives, report to the Creative Director and collaborate closely with teammates throughout the agency to produce compelling content for our clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the team to deliver concepts and ideas - big and small - that transcend the noise consumers are bombarded with every day
Write for a wide array of channels, including but not limited to: UX/UI, digital display campaigns, social media, video and animation projects
Provide input during the creation of creative briefs
Adhere to approved creative briefs and write to brand standards, tactics, specs and desired outcomes
Elevate the quality of our client’s brands on a micro and macro level
Conduct ongoing research of digital marketing best practices
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years minimum ad agency experience in writing and concepting for digital, print and video
Exceptional ability to write within the nuances of social media
Capability to manage multiple project deliverables and deadlines at once
Ability to work and thrive under pressure within a fast-paced environment
Collaboration experience with multi-disciplined teams
A portfolio that demonstrates expertise in conceptual thinking and flawless copy
Ability to interpret existing brand guidelines
Initiative and flexibility to step in when help is needed
A passion for telling stories in compelling ways
Ability to actively listen to direction and feedback
Strong organizational skills
Project management software experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
Proven track record of delivering quality content on time and within budget
The ability to write scripts and descriptions for video, animation and motion design with a knack for timing
Passion for seeking out, learning and adapting to new technologies and platforms
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
Proven record of delivering big ideas that weave through all aspects of integrated campaigns
Understanding of the SEO role in copy for websites
Website optimization experience (page titles, Meta descriptions, h1s, alts, anchor text, etc.)
Experience in writing blogs, whitepapers and press releases
Experience casting talent and overseeing production
