The hourly rate for this job is per HOUR OF MEETING AUDIO - not per hour of your work time. One hour of audio = $35; 1.5 hours of audio = $52.50, etc.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Meeting minutes writer needed for municipal meetings (Commission, Planning & Zoning, Special Magistrate, Board of Adjustment, etc.); audio, notes, agenda, and format provided; 7 business day turnaround; ability to listen to audio and write summary minutes; proficiency in English grammar.

Minutes are substantially in sentence/narrative format. Substantive narrative and discussion are condensed into summary format reflecting opinions and decisions of the board, as well as staff presentation and feedback. Summary must be "politically correct" and writer must knowledge of when to leave out discussion nothing to do with the agenda item being discussed which would not be of interest to the public and/or the City Commission, both of whom read these minutes.
