UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center is looking to contract one or more freelance science writers to work on various scientific descriptive documents for the Center. The UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center is a cancer research and treatment center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Serving patients at the N.C. Cancer Hospital, UNC Lineberger is the only public comprehensive cancer center in the state of North Carolina. This work will be done on a per project basis. This position requires excellent writing skills and attention to detail. For most projects you will be editing existing documents for consistency and making updates as needed. In limited cases, you will be asked to create technical documents for the Center. Some documents will require narrative development to ensure consistency across multiple documents or the creation of executive summaries. For more information, visit their website.
