Bridge is looking for reliable freelance writers to collaborate with our editorial team to produce articles for our content website, BridgeUniverse. Positions are available for both bloggers and journalists. Blogging duties consist of writing shorter articles (typically 1k-2k words) on a variety of topics, including Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) job advice, pedagogy, and professional development. Journalists will focus on longer, in-depth articles (3k-9k+ words) that tackle TEFL industry news. Journalists will also be responsible for conducting research and interviewing key stakeholders of the global English Language Teaching and Training (ELT) community. Candidates are welcome to write both blog articles and news articles if they have experience in both. The ideal candidate will be able to meet reasonable deadlines and have some knowledge, experience, and/or interest in the ELT community. Applicants should be self-starters who are eager to be a part of a rapidly growing team and who respond well to constructive criticism and editing. Additionally, candidates interested in researching and writing in-depth global ELT news articles will have experience in journalism, interviewing, and writing in AP style. All work is remote and open globally.
