Liz Highleyman, Science Editor at POZ Magazine, is looking for a writer: POZ Magazine is seeking a writer to help cover HIV science news. We're looking for 3 pieces per week, typically covering a study in a journal. These would cover all aspects of HIV epidemiology, prevention, care and treatment (another writers cover policy). We're looking for a junior or early-career journalist with some medical writing experience and an interest in HIV. However, if you're more experienced and know HIV thoroughly, we encourage you to reach out. People living with HIV and members of key HIV populations are especially encouraged. Library access to full-text medical journal articles is a plus. If interested, please contact lizh@poz.com Rate works out to about $100 per article, which should take approximately 2-3 hours. It's freelance / contract work, so no location requirement.
