Trans Writers/Pitches (Health)

I am looking to connect with more trans writers who specifically cover health! Most Xtra Magazine stories are US-Canada centred, but happy to hear from people elsewhere in the world as well. If you want to say hi and share some recent work, email me.

We accept pitches from all over but stories should be of interest/relevant to U.S. and Canadian audiences. So if a story is local, make sure it has broad appeal. Please also check that topics haven't been covered extensively elsewhere.

Rates depend on the scope and length of the stories assigned and/or pitched. $400 CAD would be the basic base rate for a short/straightforward reported story with limited sourcing.
