Outline of the job
Zinc Network is seeking a Freelance Social Content Producer to start immediately and deliver stunning visual and creative concepts across our global campaigns, helping us drive positive change on some of the world’s most challenging social issues.
The Social Content Producer will be a creative thinker and hands-on member of the team, responsible for developing and creating engaging, innovative and diverse social content at pace across various social media platforms. This is a versatile role, which requires someone who can independently research the topics we are working on, have a good level of copywriting skills as well as be able to produce high-quality and relevant social media content (video and static) from start to finish. You will be knowledgeable about various social content formats and emerging trends. This is a great opportunity for someone curious and playful with design, continually pushing boundaries, testing and learning from content performance. The Social Content Producer will be based in London and will be expected to come into the office up to twice a week.
What You’ll Be Doing
Rapidly digesting content briefs
Conducting independent research on project topics and content formats
Pitching in on creative campaign brainstorms with internal project teams
Generating innovative social content ideas and pitching them internally and externally with our clients and project partners effectively
Working collaboratively across the creative, digital and strategy teams (and the wider organisation) ensuring content messaging is effective
Design and produce captivating video and static social content using design software such as Premiere, InDesign, Photoshop, Canva and Aftereffects
Optimising content before distribution - considering various aspect ratios, design safe-zones and accessibility requirements across different platforms
Copywriting punchy social content captions including hashtags
Actively reviewing performance reports in order learn and improve engagement through design
Requirements
Available to start immediately
Previous experience as a Social Media Content Producer or similar role
Proficient in content creation tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar
Excellent creative copywriting skills with the ability to write clearly and concisely for different online audiences
Confident user of video editing software including Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro (Premiere preferred) preferred
Previous experience of scripting/storyboarding, designing and animation preferred
Previous experience working in a news/documentary environment preferred e.g. producing social content for a news organisation where all information is fact-checked
