Britain Eakin

Senior Immigration Reporter at Law360

My background is in Middle Eastern Studies, but I have a diverse body of work covering a wide array of domestic issues for print and radio. I started covering the federal government, Congress, the Pentagon and federal courts in 2015, and covered the first two years of the Trump presidency, including Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe. I also reported on the Guantanamo military tribunals extensively. In 2019, I started covering intellectual property disputes for Law360 at the Federal Circuit, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and various district courts, and in 2021, I was promoted to senior courts reporter. At the beginning of 2023 I switched gears and now cover immigration.
