Hi there. I’m a freelance journalist and writer based in New York City writing primarily about culture and fashion. I have written for New York Magazine’s The Cut, Cosmopolitan, W Magazine, InStyle, and NYLON.

Before this, I was a reporter at the San Antonio Express-News and for NYU’s student publication, the Washington Square News. I’ve also performed research on an investigative podcast for Market Road Films called Unfinished: Deep South and have experience working as a production assistant.

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and English Literature from New York University in May 2021. My Honors Thesis was awarded the Zenith and Sidney Gross Memorial Prize presented for the best written investigative reporting piece by an undergraduate student at NYU.

I grew up primarily in San Antonio, Texas, and attended school and lived on an Air Force base for most of my life. I also spent time abroad in Australia, and yes, I did hold a koala.
