Prior to joining NBC Select, Cory was an editor at The Kitchn at Apartment Therapy Media and Food Network Magazine, where he was the recipient of Hearst’s annual Spotlight Award. Additionally, Cory was a contributor at The Pioneer Woman Magazine. Before working as Hearst, Cory interned at Men’s Health and Out Magazine.

Cory holds a Bachelor of Science in Magazine Journalism from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications. Though his primary focus is food, cooking, kitchen and home, Cory also occasionally covers topics such as entertaining, DIY, organization and cleaning.
