Daniel Preciado is a contributor at Forbes Marketplace. He studied sport analytics at Syracuse Univeristy and has covered sports betting since 2018 for The Game Day, The Action Network and Fansided.
He began sports betting in 2021 after discovering his love for college sports, particularly those of the USC Trojans and Syracuse Orange. Daniel began writing as a 15-year-old passionate about MLB, particularly the Los Angeles Dodgers. He operated as an editor for Dodgers Nation and FanSided’s Angels blog Halo Hangout before discovering his love for sports betting.
After a brief stint with Action Network, he wrote iGaming and sports betting content for Forbes and The Game Day. In between, Daniel has participated in numerous high-stakes fantasy baseball contests and, with his educational background, has constructed successful sports betting models for college basketball and MLB.
Daniel is also contributing commercial content for media partnerships at Bleacher Nation and operating as a college football writer at Action Network.
He has been a guest speaker at the Society of American Baseball Research (SABR) on multiple occasions in Phoenix and New York City.
