Danielle Masterson is a print and TV journalist in Chicagoland. Broadcast has always played a role in her life. Even back in grade school, she was taping radio, news and talk show segments with her pals. Decades later, Masterson feels blessed to be making a living doing what she has always loved to do: telling stories.

Masterson graduated from Michigan State University’s School of Journalism, focusing on law and broadcast. She worked as a reporter at an ABC affiliate in Michigan’s capital city, Lansing, as well as a host for a regional home-building show. The broadcast journalist eventually made her way to Chicago, the amazing city she has called home since 2008.

While in the Windy City, Masterson hosted a cooking show and anchored for a national cable news station for a number of years.

These days, the wife and mom of two is a science nutrition writer and the host of the NutraCast podcast.
