  • How would Tesla stock fare if Musk left the company altogether
    6 May—GOBankingRates
Before Tesla announced it’s first-quarter earnings on April 22, its stock was down 44% on the year and shares plummeted 6% the day before. To say Q1 results fell well below Wall Street expectations is an understatement. Among the lowlights was the EV maker’s net income falling 71% amid heavy competition from Chinese carmakers (such as BYD), a lack of new models and CEO Elon Musk’s backing of far-right causes. Not surprisingly,...

Most industry experts are predicting house prices to increase in 2025 — albeit at a slower pace — and markets to remain hot, as job growth, stiff competition and still-limited inventory will continue to fuel demand. This year is expected to favor home...
  • Will a Stock Market Correction Happen Under Trump?
    23 Jan—GOBankingRates
champpixs / Getty Images/iStockphoto With the election over and President Trump in office, investors are waiting to see how the new administration’s policies could impact capital markets in 2025. Many believe a market pullback is on its way, but it might have very little to do with what happened on Nov. 5. “The odds of a correction occurring during Trump’s second term are high, not because the risk is necessarily higher or lower given the Trump administration’s likely policies, but because...
